Les évêques francophones de Belgique se sont réunis pour réfléchir aux sacrements de l’initiation chrétienne de nos jeunes càd baptême-confirmation-eucharistie. Ils ont alors publié des propositions d’orientation pour un renouveau de la catéchèse.
L’équipe Diocésaine de catéchèse s’est penché sur ces propositions et a présenté un projet qui a été accepté par l’ensemble des doyens.
Dans ce projet global de catéchèse, basé sur le cheminement catéchuménal (cheminement pour recevoir les sacrements d’Initiation Chrétienne : Baptême, Confirmation, Eucharistie), la catéchèse des enfants et des jeunes va connaître un « renouveau » …
QUELLES SONT CES NOUVEAUTÉS ?
- Un parcours catéchétique de 3 ans, sans interruption (à partir de la 2e année primaire).
Au terme de la 1e année d’éveil à la foi, il y aura célébration de la Première Communion et éventuellement du Baptême.
- Suivront 2 années de préparation vers la Confirmation.
Nous resterons bien sûr ouverts à toutes demandes particulières en rejoignant les familles dans leur histoire et leur parcours parfois difficiles.
Et afin d’accueillir du mieux possible les familles et en lien avec l’année de Refondation, nous travaillons dès maintenant à élargir notre équipe locale de Catéchèse. Cette nouvelle équipe, qui travaillera en collaboration avec notre animatrice en Pastorale aura aussi pour mission de situer la place de la catéchèse dans la Paroisse Nouvelle.
ET APRES ?
Les enfants confirmés seront appelés à trouver leur place dans la communauté, à s’occuper des plus petits et à continuer à « grandir dans la foi », le projet est à mettre en place avec la collaboration du Service Pastoral de la Jeunesse qui devrait nous proposer des pistes.
